Loving it Sri Lanka is a 5-night, 6-day round trip that takes you to the island’s greatest highlights — from the Sigiriya Lion Rock fortress built by King Kasyapa in the 5th century AD, to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, a hike across Horton Plains, the historic Galle Dutch Fort, and a turtle hatchery visit in Kosgoda.
As you arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, our representative will warmly greet you and escort you to Sigiriya. Visit the iconic Lion Rock Sigiriya and climb the ancient fortress in the afternoon, before settling in for the night.
Set off on a morning jeep safari at Minneriya National Park in search of elephants and other wildlife. Visit the Golden Temple of Dambulla, then continue to Kandy to pay your respects at the revered Temple of the Tooth Relic. Enjoy a cultural dance show, Kandy Lake, and the Kandy viewpoint.
Make your way to Nuwara Eliya, stopping en route at the Ramboda Waterfalls and the Ambuluwawa Tower. Visit a working tea plantation and factory where the finest tea in the world is produced. On arrival, enjoy a city tour and a relaxed walk around Gregory Lake.
This morning, proceed towards Hikkaduwa, stopping en route at the St. Clare’s Waterfalls. Choose your adventure: an early-morning hike at Horton Plains National Park or the thrill of White Water Rafting at Kitulgala. An optional Madu River Boat Safari can be arranged in the afternoon before reaching Bentota.
After breakfast, drive to Galle for a visit to the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort. Browse the Dutch Hospital shopping complex — a great spot to pick up souvenirs. Head to the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, a prime nesting site, with an optional whale watching tour available before returning to Bentota.
After breakfast, proceed to Colombo for a city tour visiting the Gangarama Temple and the tranquil Seema Malaka, with an optional stop at the Lotus Tower.
