Our representative meets you at Bandaranaike International Airport and escorts you to Kandy. En route, stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, home to one of Asia’s largest captive elephant herds. Continue to Kandy to visit the revered Temple of the Tooth Relic, where the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha is enshrined.

Journey through the misty highlands to Nuwara Eliya. Stop at the breathtaking Ramboda Waterfalls, then visit a working tea plantation and factory where Ceylon Tea — the finest in the world — is produced and packed. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya for a city tour and a leisurely walk around Gregory Lake.

Set off early for a hike across Horton Plains National Park to the dramatic World’s End escarpment. Later, take the scenic route to Ella, one of Sri Lanka’s most beloved hill towns. In the afternoon, visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge and soak up the laid-back charm of Ella town in the evening.

Begin with an early hike up Mini Adam’s Peak for sweeping valley views, followed by a thrilling ride on the Ravana Zip Line. Then proceed to Yala National Park for a guided afternoon jeep safari — Yala holds the highest density of leopards in the world, alongside elephants, crocodiles and abundant birdlife.

Enjoy an optional second jeep safari in Yala at dawn, then travel west to Galle, the south coast’s major city. Explore the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort and pick up souvenirs at the Dutch Hospital shopping complex. An optional visit to the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery rounds out the day before reaching Bentota.
