Best of Sri Lanka is a 4-night, 5-day round trip that takes you to the island’s greatest highlights — from Asia’s largest elephant orphanage at Pinnawala to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy, misty tea fields in Nuwara Eliya, white-water rapids at Kitulgala, the historic Galle Fort, and finally the sun-soaked shores of Bentota.
Our representative meets you at Bandaranaike International Airport and escorts you to Kandy. En route, stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage — home to over 90 rescued elephants and Asia’s largest captive herd. Continue to Kandy to visit the revered Temple of the Tooth Relic, where the sacred relic of the Buddha is enshrined.
Journey through the misty highlands to Nuwara Eliya. Stop at the breathtaking Ramboda Waterfalls, then visit a working tea plantation and factory where Ceylon Tea — the finest in the world — is produced and packed. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya for a city tour and a leisurely walk around Gregory Lake.
Head towards the coast, stopping at St. Clare’s Waterfalls. Choose your adventure: an early morning hike at Horton Plains National Park or the adrenaline rush of White Water Rafting at Kitulgala. Continue to Bentota for a relaxed evening by one of Sri Lanka’s most celebrated beaches.
After breakfast, drive to the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort for a fascinating exploration of Dutch colonial heritage. Visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, a prime nesting site where thousands of sea turtles are rescued and released. Optional whale watching tour at Mirissa and a selfie session at the iconic Coconut Hills.
After breakfast, enjoy an optional stop in Colombo to visit the Lotus Tower, Gangarama Temple, and the tranquil Seema Malaka floating temple.
