Before you book your safari
Your booking covers the jeep, fuel and an experienced driver-tracker for the drive. Park entrance tickets are usually paid separately at the gate — we’ll tell you the current rates and can include them in your quote so there are no surprises.
Early morning and late afternoon drives generally give the best sightings, and the drier months make wildlife easier to spot around waterholes. Send us your dates and we’ll advise the best session for what you most want to see.
Yes. An expert ranger rides along to guide you through the park’s wildlife, tracks and behaviour — a great add-on if it’s your first safari or you’re keen on birds and photography. Just tick “Wildlife Ranger” on the form.
We do. Our team sets up a safe camp with the gear you need so you can spend the night surrounded by the wild and catch a dawn drive. Let us know your group size and dates and we’ll put the details together.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, cash and bank transfer, with details shared once your safari is confirmed. For pick-ups, tell us your hotel or location near Yala and we’ll arrange a convenient meeting point and time.
Absolutely. Many guests add Yala to a longer trip taking in Kandy, Ella and the south coast. Mention it in the notes and we’ll build a full itinerary around your safari.
