Day 01
Munneswaram Temple
As you arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport, our representative will be waiting to warmly greet you and escort you to Anuradhapura, en route pay a visit to Munneswaram Kovil and Manavari Kovil. Overnight stay in Anuradhapura.

- Munneswaram Temple is where Lord Rama stopped on his way back to Ayodhya as he felt that in Munnesvaram Temple he is safe from the Brahmahathi Dosham (the curse of killing a Brahmin). He prayed to Lord Shiva who advised him to install and pray at four lingams in Manavari, Thiru Koneswaram, Thiruketheeswaram, and Rameshwaram to get rid of the Dosham.
- Manavari Temple or Ramalinga Shivan is the only lingam in the world, according to the legend, that is named after Lord Rama other than at Rameshwaram.
Day 02
Thiru Koneswaram Temple
After the breakfast Proceed to Trincomalee, a beach front costal town where the Thiru Koneswaram Temple, one of a top attractions by Hindu devotees, is located at. In the afternoon visit the Thiru Koneswaram Temple and the rest of the day will be yours.
Overnight Stay in Trincomalee
- Thiru Koneswaram Temple is said to have been built by Agastya Rishi on the instructions of Lord Shiva on being impressed by King Ravanas devotion. It is also said that Lord Rama built the second lingam here to get rid of the Brahmahathi Dosham.
Day 03
Temple of the Tooth Relic
You can visit kanniya hot springs in the morning and proceed to kandy. optional visit to temple of the tooth relic in kandy where the tooth relic of Buddha is well preserved. Rest of the day you can relax at the hotel.

- Temple of the Tooth Relic is one of the most significant place for Sri Lankan Buddhists which was constructed specifically to house the tooth relic in the sixteenth century A.D.
Day 04
Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple
Make our way to Nuwara Eliya. En route, we will stop over the Ramboda Water Falls. Sri Bhakta Hanuman temple, visit a tea plantation and a tea factory. when we reach Nuwara Eliya take a city tour in Nuwara Eliya and Gregoury lake.

- Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple is located in hills of Ramboda where Hanuman was Searching for Sita. The Chinmaya Mission of Sri Lanka constructed the Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple, which is frequented by thousands of worshippers each year,
Day 05
Seetha Amman Temple
After the breakfast proceed to Ella. Ella is definitely a destination to visit if you are following Ramayana Trail. Visit Seetha Amman Temple, Hakgala Botanical Garden (Ashok Vatika) and ravana cave on our way to Ella.
Overnight Stay in Ella
- Sita Amman Temple can be seen en route to Hakgala Botanical Gardens. The temple is a contemporary structure with murals, statues, and pillars embellished with sculptures that collectively tell the story of Rama and Sita.
- Asoka Vatika is the exotic pleasure garden where King Ravana kept Sita, insisting that she marries him. It was here where the heartwarming meeting took place between her and Hanuman, who brought her Rama’s ring with the news that Rama was looking for her. Part of this majestic garden still exists. It is also said that Hanuman nearly destroyed it in order to prove to Ravana of the forces against him.
Day 06
Ravana Falls
Visit mini Adams peak, Visit the city of Galle which is the south coasts major city, Visit Galle fort, en rought stop at Ravana falls and Ussangoda. Overnight Stay in Bentota.
Overnight Stay in Bentota
- Ussangoda is said to have been an airport used by King Ravana. According to Ramayana, after meeting Sita, Lord Hanuman decided to test the strength of the mighty King Ravana and his army of Rakshasas. In the event that unfolded Lord Hanuman’s tail was set on fire by the Rakshasas, who in turn went on to torch some parts of King Ravana’s empire. Ussangoda is one of the torched areas.
- Ravana falls is said to be the place where sita was hidden when she was kidnapped by king Ravana.
- Rumassala is said to be a part of a mountain Himalaya which was dropped by Hanuman on his way back to Sri Lanka, bringing medicine for Lakshman.
Day 07
Depature
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for the airport in order to connect with your departure flight.
