Yala National park

Yala National Park is the most famous and most visited national park in Sri Lanka. With around 1000 leopards and a density of one per square mile, it holds the highest leopard density in the world. The main reason why people from all over the world come to this park is to see “Panthera Pardus,” commonly known as “Kotiya” by the locals. And also Yala National Park is home to elephants, jackals, slothbears, sambars, spotteddeer, crocodiles, and over 200 bird species including seven bird species endemic to Sri Lanka.
